I really like the idea of the timeline over the course of one relationship. I didn’t realize that’s what was happening until I read Geale’s comment/your reply so then I had to go back and read them again from that POV. I would be lying if I said I liked a Fara/Ara pairing -I’m not sure why I don’t -I think it’s because by the time Aragorn becomes Elessar he is starting to get on my nerves a bit. Also, almost everyone who writes F/A pairing makes A the ever dominant -which seems characteristically accurate -but I can’t help wishing that just once my beloved F would flip that smug king like a pancake and give HIM some trouble getting on a horse the next day. I only bother to tell you this because it is to your credit that I don’t skip over your stories. I don’t think I’ve read anything with your name on it that wasn’t F/A, but I always enjoy your writing. I’m just not great at always posting comments – I’m trying to be better about it ;) So thanks for putting this up on here. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Geale: Thank you so much for such lovely words! You’ve made my day. Not at all wrong. I’m very, very glad they work that way too. It always delights me to have some hotness happening between these two! And to hear that that works from you, who manages to give them such a lot of lovely hotness is very very nice to hear;)
I am very glad those two lines work. The first one started off differently, Faramir was actually aiming for a sex competition vs. Eomer or Legolas or someone, but then as I was writing it turned into this. So I’m really glad it worked. And Galadriel – yes of course, who wouldn’t:)

They are all indeed, as you have understood, centred on one single relationship, an indeed set in a timeline from the very first meeting in the HoH to Aragorn’s realisation of how much Faramir has come to mean to him – pretty much an ever after:)

Haha, and I was going to ask if it was wrong of me to find these extremely hot? As in OMG – thisissohot!!!

But also, at least to my eyes, amazingly beautiful. The prompts may be cliché but you tackled them with such grace that I practically whimpered at times. (I don know if that’s a proper measurement to go by, though…).

Two small paragraphs I hold especially dear: from number 5: “Aragorn leaves the next day for three weeks to Anorien. Faramir stays back. It is their first parting.” (because after all that intensity, that little bit of harsh reality was simply perfect) and from number 7: “The viewers rise to leave. Galadriel plans to stay though.” (because… WHO WOULDN’T?! :D)

Based on your author’s note, would I be right to assume that the ficlets are little illuminations of ten different aspects of one single relationship…? Because I do like that! As if they all could be found on a timeline that begins with the healing and ends with Aragorn realising that this is no passing fancy, but something which he wants for forever.

Is it wrong of me that I found these completely hilarious? Not that they weren’t well-written, because they were. The entire concept of cliche ficlets just slays me and these were wonderfully fun.
