Yeah, I loved returning to this universe. It’s very easy to slip into again… Meaning that in some future we might see more.

To tell you the truth, I adore this Eldarion – however bad that sounds. And he’s so much fun to write!

Somehow I managed to read and be so certain I did review to finally forget and not review. I happen to be hopeless sometimes.

Firstly, I absolutely loved this story, because I absolutely love ‘Coldest Winter’ universe. I just have this story recorded as a classic A/F and each return to this (like ‘Of Pain and Sweetness’) is a great thing to me. The mood is back. All the precious atmosphere you created before is back. Thise warm chambers filled with fireplace glow, this canonic Faramir’s character, everything, it is back and I cannot stop but return to this piece of artwork.

This Eldarion is different than in “Mist”. Younger, happier, maybe even a bit pranky, but it’s still charming. (If only children really were that way. Maybe I would learn to like them) The idea of an ill child worked greatly here. And again your gift of description does not dissapoint. I could almost feel the hot steam comng from the teapot. Maybe next time you decide to use such an idea – not necessarily on Eldarion – try a brew of lemon, honey and ginger. It’s absolutely sensual. I give you my word.

I loved it, darling! (I mean the story, of course.) I love when you come back to TCW universe. I think it is still my no.1 of your fiction.

Wonderful to revisit this universe! I had been reading chapters of ‘The Coldest Winter’ last weekend because I needed something sweet, and Faramir was so loving after the attack on Aragorn. Now I find a brand new chapter and it’s like we never left. You slip seamlessly back into the mood of the story.

And, of course, you have me wondering about the prequel again, also ;) But I shall content myself with this!

Ooh! this is just lovely! Faramir is so amazing in this… so tender and fatherly and loving and sweet and vulnerable all rolled into one. I can see all the kids are going to love him…!
You know now that you’ve mentioned the other two kids, there has to be at least one more story with Aragorn and Faramir and them…:)
