Wow, awesome! Wonder why I never thought that something like this could happen. But you’re absolutely right, Faramir must have a dark side and were that to come forth, he would be a clever, deadly enemy. I guess in this story he would end up marrying Finduilas and uniting Gondor and Rohan…

I don’t now if I will write more story of this kind.
On the other hand, I have another story in the making, but I will post it only when it will be completed.
I don’t like posting WIP because I change my stories during their creation and I prefer to publish only the last version.

This brings a very interesting thought indeed. What if his strength of character had not existed so strongly. What if he had decided to act out after all that was done to him. I always wondered how the man would be strong enough not to completely implode or explode with everything he endured. I must admit I have thought about this very thing myself on occasion. I enjoyed this very much. Although I am very glad things did go differently. Thank you for sharing this great story with us. I look forward to more in the future.

It differs indeed, but it is also very interesting and strange. Perhaps because I have the same thoughts about many aspects you’ve written here about, I liked it very much.

I am not fond of AUs, too, but this was something that intrigued me.

I found this a fascinating “What if”?If Faramir had not been the sort of man he was, this would have been all too plausible.I’m not usually a reader of AUs, but you made this both convincing and chilling.
