I am so intrigued by this! I love me a good Elrond/Faramir story and this looks so promising!
I fully support the idea of putting Faramir in a position where he is already accustomed to Elves, yet having no clear idea of what is awaiting him now that he is supposed to meet, um, other elves… Right. (You know what I mean!) Also, I love the way you portrayed the Mirkwood elves’ fascination with him, and, at the same time, their inability to see him as anything other than someone who is different from them. That is, they know he is human and yet they still treat him – from what I gather – as a non-elven being, if you see my point.
Ah, intrigued is the word! I want to see more of this! :D
