Raven, I’m very pleased that you liked the style. Normally I end up with pretty long sentences but this one I wrote in one go and changed very little when I went over it a couple of days later. I know I do provide some background and a hint about the future (politics at Elrond’s) but I still wanted the story to be very much anchored in the present. Hence those “spotlights of impression” :)

What a beautiful style of writing! I can´t even decide what´s most lovable: the easiness, coupled with an air of tenderness and genuine care for each other, the special sensuality of “twin sex” or the little “spotlights” of impression: black like ink, beeswax candles, a casually given image of the location. Or the subtle, warm sense of humour. Mûmak, huh? Weeeeeell, I guess he´s not referring to Faramir´s body weight, huh? XD And “dressed in Elf”, my personal highlight. It´s those moments that catch you unaware when you think you could just read a piece of slash on train without drawing any greater attention… thank god they didn´t kick me out! XDDD
