Wow. I found this page by accident and yours is the first I read. This is like part of an introductory to this ship for me.Thanks for the piece!

I like the way you describe the scenes and scenery, and love it that the characters are reasonable people who live each other and are not scare to show it. Well, except for our two protagonist who are so very lovely. The way Éomer manned up and apologize and take chance after being freed from his burden by his sister (along with a kick in the butt) was very satisfying. The only problem I have with how things turned out was that no-one on the Gondorien ever learned that the words that led to misunderstanding cane from Faramir himself—in trying to conceal how he really feel he inadvertanrly alianated his friend, and instead of explaining it to someone who would listen and explain to the Rihan in his place, he broke down and cry. I know that Denethor has a lot to answer for for how Faramir turned out like this, but babying him and taking his side even though he was partly wrong would only reinforce this habit of not having to take full responsibiliy for his own actions since people who love him will forgive him and/or take all the blame and apologize. Just think about if this happen again with a diplomat from other allies? Would he break down and cry and then his loved ones would come to console him and get rid of the meanie again?

Despite that issue I found your story to be superbly entertaining and nice to read and re-read. It is a good work and I thank you for making it reachable by public. What I said above is not meant to be a slight to ypur work, but what I think would add to it and make it even better. But that’s just my opinion, too.

The first chapter tugged at my “poor Fara” emotions. This one tugged at my “yaaaaaaaay” emotions. Lots of kudos to you….
