Hands of a King

Oh, how lovely! I just adored this one!

Um, I think I might have fallen just a little bit in love with your Boromir. And that needs to be understood in the light of the fact that I have only recently – after, what, 15 years? – finally begun warming to him as a character. I found the line “I may no longer address you as ‘filthy ranger’?” absolutely hilarious, just because I normally think of him as being so grim and serious and tormented. And I laughed at “Oh? I thought perhaps it was one of your standard healing techniques.” :)

And your Faramir is so sweet (I do like his flashes of confidence and determination!) and I must say that rough Boromir/Legolas sex does have a certain appeal… Hm.

Thank you for sharing!

Hands of a King

Thank you very much for posting this! Your fic caught me in a pretty depressive mood and I dare say it was exactly the right cure. All the care and tenderness – plus Boromir revealing his more delicate sides – really brightened my day. :)

For some reason I found the idea of Faramir being separated from all the others in the Houses of Healing quite fitting. Despite of the fact that it is a comprehensible decision to put a hopeless case aside in order to help where there is still a chance for success it seems to underline his position as an outsider. I wonder whether they had given up Boromir so quickly – after all he´s the future steward while his brother is (as usual) only the second one.

And Boromir/Legolas… I never thought much of that pairing but now it starts to rouse my interest…*ponders*
